This worksheet demonstrates basic function transformations and combinations of transformations. There are six possible transformations:
horizontal and vertical shifts,
horizontal and vertical stretches/compressions, and
x-axis and y-axis reflections.
The first 3 settings are horizontal transformations; the last 3 settings are vertical transformations.
The original function f(x) = sin x shown in black (and doesn't change). The transformed function g(x) is shown in blue.
