Right Triangle and Trig Functions

Use this applet to draw an acute angle in a right triangle. The angle is measured in degrees and is restricted to whole numbers between 1 and 89. Once you select an angle, the applet will display the lengths of all three sides of the right triangle, which you can use to calculate the six trig functions for the angle. The applet also displays the values of all six trig functions. By default, the hypotenuse of the right triangle is 4. However, you can change the hypontenuse to any number between 1 and 4 (by increment of 0.1). The right triangle will get smaller and bigger based on the choice that you make for the hypotenuse. simple_student
