Observing Venus

This applet models motion of Venus in circular orbit around the Sun. Apart from knowledge about Astronomy, the model provides a lot of interesting geometrical and trigonometrical exercises. For examples, (a) The distance of Venus to the Sun (b) The period of between conjunctions (c) The period of both the Earth and Venus return to their starting points (ever?) (d) The condition when retrograde motion happens
