To find the centre of a circle

To find the centre of a circle yes we bisect two chords. What we are really doing in this case is constructing[b] intersecting circles of equal radius[/b] and whose centres are on the original circle. We then join where they intersect to find the centre much like we do for a line. Activity: 1. Drag the circle centres (B,C,D,G) onto the circumference of circle A. 2. Using the line tool from the tool box connect the two points where the circles cross each other. Note the lines pass through the centre point (A) 3. If you join the circle centres with a line these are the cords.
