The student is supposed to pick one of three boxes. [i]One[/i] box contains a prize (fancy car!) Then one box [i]without[/i] the price is removed, and the student gets the opportunity to pick the remaining box instead of the one she or he picked first. Is this to the student's advantage in order to win the price?
