A Trigonometry Application

This is the initial (trigonometry) part of an Additional Mathematics problem involving calculus. The students need to find a formula for the height of vertex C so that they can calculate the rate of change of the height. The problem can be generalised to explain the identity sin(A + B) = sin A*cosB + cos A*sinB.
