Students often confuse Area and Perimeter. This applet is intended to have the students move triangles and observe the relationship between the two. Point B is fixed so they can only move the other two points. It lets the students move the points and watch how the area and perimeter changes.
It asks the students about the types of triangles that have large areas, small perimeters, etc.
