Aim
The aim of this activity is to study the relationship between angle and sides of a right-angled triangle.
Activity 1 instruction
Drag the point A or point B may change the length of the side of right-angled triangle ABC. The data is recorded in the spreadsheet below.
Activity 2 instruction
Drag the hangle of the slider will change angle A.
Repeat activity 1 for other angle.
What do you notice?
If the angle A is fixed and you change the length of any side, will the ratio AB : BC : AC change?
Explain why.
If angle A is double, will the ratio of AB : BC double?
Explain.
