Volume Formula of Prisms and Cylinders

Try adjusting the height and slowly stacking the base pieces. What does this show you about the relationship between height and layers of the base?

Try adjusting the number of sides in the base of the prism. You can add so many sides that the prism almost turns into a cylinder. Does the relationship between height and layers of the base change, when you change the base shape?
