Perpendicular Bisector of a Line Segment Investigation

Start by constructing a line segment. Label the endpoints J and K. Now, construct the perpendicular bisector of that segment. Construct a point on that perpendicular bisector. Label it M. Construct two line segments that connect J and M, and K and M. Use the measure tool to find the length of JM and KM. Move M along the perpendicular bisector. What do you notice? Write a hypothesis.
