Midsegments of Triangles
- Kyle Schwaninger
1. Construct a triangle ABC using the polygon tool. 2. Use the midpoint tool to construct the midpoint of the sides (AB and AC). 3. Draw a line segment between the two midpoints. 4. Use the angle tool to measure all the angles of the two triangles formed. -What do you notice about the angles? -Does that tell us anything about lines? 5. Move the points around to see what happens to the angles. -Do your answers from 4 still make sense? -Are the two triangles similar? How do you know?
