Simple Transversals

Lines CD and EH are parallel. Line AB is a transversal.

Remember when naming these angles, use three letters. 1. Identify a pair of corresponding angles. 2. Identify a pair of alternate interior angles. 3. Identify a pair of alternate exterior angles. 4. Identify a pair of same-side interior angles. 5. Use points, A, B and C to move the lines around the screen making sure to observe the values of the angles. 6. Record the angle measure for EACH of the 4 angle types above. Move the transversal to a different location and repeat. 7. What conclusion can you make about EACH of the 4 different angle types?
