Directions: Use the following Geogebra applet to figure out whether or not "SHOT A" will go in the basket.
There are three sliders that you can adjust to help you visualize how the shot will travel through the air. Move each slider and watch how it changes the curve.
Pay special attention to:
1. How the equation at the bottom of the picture changes as you adjust the sliders; and
2. How each variable changes the curve.
Once your done with this shot, make sure to fill out your table!
