Animated balls illustrate the horizontal and or vertical displacement for a quadratic position function s(t). A tangent line is included so you can note the instantaneous velocity while the balls change position. Choose the time you want by dragging the "time" slider. Of course you can download the file and change the function. Turn the slider animation on and examine the behaviour at stationary points and inflection points.
