Preliminaries works on infinity representation

Four kinds of preliminary works

In the followings drawings there are some vision trough their life of infinity. In the first one, the older also, (Development ii-1936), he focuses from small to big in a pentagonal form: this is the growing idea, usual in the nature. In the second (Butterflies-1950), he combines the idea of tessellation with that of growing from polygonal shapes to well formed butterflies. In the third one (Circular fish-1956), nevertheless, the tendency is inverted. You can look it more from outside to inside that on the contrary. There are concentrical circles of alternating black and white fishes, but your eyes are conducted to the central point, the centre of all the concentrical circles, were the most smaller fishes navigate round the center. In the four -draw the same year of the previous- he explicit in the name the way about how to look it: Smaller an smaller (1956). In the same way as previous, concentrical circles defines tessellations of lizards smaller and smaller from outside to inside. Here with a more complex pattern that makes the lizards on the four corners more bigger than the lizards on the middle sides. The effect is that of square up the drawing, but also maintain the representation of infinity in the center.
