Shoot the monkey

Author:
Fabrizio
If you aim at a "monkey" hanging on a tree and if it lets itself fall down when you shoot your projectile, you will hit it nonetheless. Shoot the monkey is the title under which this problem is known in literature. No monkey was/is going to be harmed/injured during the experiment, nor is this intended to encourage a similar experiment in the real life.
