This game, which includes number pattern topic, was designed in line with M.5.1.1.3. (Students will be able to create the desired steps of the number and shape patterns given as a rule.) Achievement within the scope of the mathematics curriculum (2018) published by the Ministry of Education. The multiples of a number ‘’n” exhibit a pattern where you’ll get the next number in the series by adding “n” to the last number. Such a sequence found in a number series is a number pattern. Arithmetic number series is the most common number pattern. Here, we get the following number in the sequence by adding/subtracting a constant to/from the previous number. This constant, or the difference between two consecutive numbers in an arithmetic number pattern, is a common difference. The aim of this game is students to notice the relationship between the numbers given in different arithmetic patterns and to complete the missing numbers in accordance with the rules of the pattern. Teachers can present this content ‘Number Pattern Game’ to their students for an average 30-40 minutes based on one lesson hour, according to their own lesson plans. This game is created to be used both on the board in classroom with teachers and classmates and individually by students on their own technological devices.
