Lightning

the title of this piece is "volcano." what i found interesting in this piece was that i used the simple parent function f(x)= x and it produced an images that seems to be a parabola. i added an "a" slider so the slope would change. as "a" increases it becomes steeper and more gradual as it decreases. i also added an "h" slider so the line would move horizontally, as "h" was positive the line would shift horizontally and as "h" was negative the line would shift to the right, positively. the "k" slider is their so the colors can change dynamically and not have one color. red was set at 255 so that it would be dominant, blue at 5k so as k went up it would change red to be more pinkish and as it went down, the green (50+4k) would change the red to a yellow color. i timed the slider in unison so that the line would always be the same color at the same point so it did not appear to be "random."
