Constant-thickness fault-propagation folding
- Andreas Plesch
Exploration of Fault Propagation Folding after Suppe & Medwedeff (1990)
Feel free to move points A, B, C, and D which define the fold shape. After each modification make sure to move point F until linked point N overlaps point E exactly. The resulting configuration is then a bed length balanced FPF. Check angles on plot as provided by Suppe & Medwedeff (1990). The red and green circles track the geometry of the current construction.
