The Malfatti circles are three circles inside a given triangle such that each circle is tangent to the other two and to two sides of the triangle.
The radical center of the Ajima-Malfatti circles is constructed as follows:
- Construct the three Malfatti circles.
- Define the contact points A', B', and C' of the three circles.
- Construct the perpendicular lines in A' to B''C'', in B' to A''C'' and in C' to A''B''

The cirkels van Malfatti zijn drie cirkels in een driehoek die elk de twee andere cirkels uitwendig raken en elk raken aan twee zijden van de driehoek.
