Spiral of quadrilaterals and triangles
How does this work?
You have two spirals of quadrilaterals similar to the big pink one. The idea is to see spirals of triangles as degenerate quadrilaterals.
- Drag the big cyan vertex to change the shape of the quadrilateral.
- Drag the yellow vertex (on the top) to change the angle beta. It snaps on the grey points corresponding to angles 360°/k for k=3 to 24.
- snap cursor : The cyan dot snaps to the sides of the quadrilateral to form a triangle. The cursor "snap" allows you to change the force of the magnet : from left (no snap) to right (strong magnet force). A cyan dot appears when snap is activated.
- n is the number of quadrilaterals in each of the spirals.
