Adding Angles
Instructions
Step 1. Experiment
Use the MOVE tool
to move Point C, Point D, and Point E.
Observe what happens to Angle CAD and Angle DAE as you do this.
Step 2. Draw Conclusions
What is the relationship between the large Angle CAE and the two smaller angles?
Step 3. Practice
Use the MOVE tool
to turn off any one of the three angle size displays.
Move Point C, Point D, and Point D to new locations.
Using what you wrote in Step 2, figure out the missing value.
Turn on the angle size display to check your answer.
Try this several times, changing the missing angle size display that is turned off.
