Basic Construction 1
We can use the rules of construction to copy a line segment! This is very easy using just the compass and line tools we learned in the definition section of this book.
Tool Practice
Using the applet below, see if you can construct line CE by copying AB. You want to make a line coming out of C that is the same length as AB. Remember, that circles are a great way to make lines the same length because the radius of a circle is constant.
