Absolute Value Function Analysis
- Audrey McLaren
You're going to type things in the input boxes on the left to make a few things appear on the graph:
1. In the box under the function rule, type the coordinates of the vertex so that no matter what values the sliders have, the vertex is always where it should be. 2. Give that point the name "Vertex", and format it as you like. 3. Under the vertex box, type the coordinates of the y-intercept so that no matter what the values of the sliders are, the y-intercept is always where it should be. 4. Give that point an appropriate name, and format it as you like. After you're done, scroll past the graph to see the final challenge!
Here's the challenge:
5. Do the same as above for the zero(s). Note that this mean you'll need to type two ordered pairs, since this function can have that many!
