10:00 – 13:00 Arrival and accommodation of participants
13:00 Lunch
14:00 – 15:00 Welcome, opening of the workshop
Separate meetings of national parts of the project team devoted to the planning
of the forthcoming events (e.g. popularization activities, workshops and seminars)
15:00 – 15:30 Coffee
15:30 – 17:00 Excursion on architectural, technical and artistic sights of the place.
Each participant will seek inspiration for educational materials (pencils, papers
and cameras are recommended). Several binational teams (approximately 4) will be
created to refine the emerging ideas and present them on Saturday morning.
17:00 – 17:30 Instructional material template, updated versions presented by both national teams, Czech and Austrian
17:30 – 18:00 STEM Education Center in Linz
Short presentation of experience of the center's acitivities. Common meetings and workshops.
18:00 – 19:00 Dinner
19:00 – 20:00 Organisation of the common meetings of Austrian and Czech pupils.
20:00 – Informal discussions and preparations of binational teams for Saturday’s presentations of
ideas for educational materials inspired by the afternoon excursion
Saturday 10 March 2018
7:30 – 8:30 Breakfast
8:30 – 10:30 Visit to the Fisheries Technical Museum in Vodňany
Binational teams created on Friday will seek inspiration for educational materials again.
10:30 – 11:00 Coffee
11:00 – 12:00 Discussion of the possible use of ideas arising from the excursions in the teaching
of mathematics, presentations of representatives of the binational teams.
12:00 – 13:00 Presentations of selected project activities that were either implemented or are planned.
Discussion of the plan for further project activities.
13:00 – Closing of the workshop, Lunch
