The logo above, resembles a Bauhinia flower, served as the logo of the former Hong Kong Urban Council until 1998. You can still find this logo in various public amenities established during that time across Hong Kong, such as the Hong Kong central library.
A student once asked "Can we define the logo with one equation?"
I think we probably can! But approximately...
Nevertheless, here I still have a few questions:
1. Can you have a better fit by tweaking the above parameters?
2. Do you understand what each term in the equation is doing?
3. Can you find a better equation? May be one with simpler definition or having a better fit?
