The pre image is reflected over the line x=2. The image is reflected accurately because each if we drew an imaginary line between the corresponding points on the pre image and image, their perpendicular bisectors would be perpendicular to the line of reflection and be equidistant relative to the line of reflection. Reflections area type of rigid motion, meaning that the image is congruent to the pre image.
