After learning how a unit circle on the 2D x-y plane may be parameterized as (x,y)=(cos(t), sin(t)), extend the shape into 3D by adding the third dimension z as a linear multiple of t. In addition to using pre-set "view" buttons, click/drag or use touchscreen gestures to adjust 3D viewing perspective.
