How to use this applet? 1. Click the button named "Fraction". This will produce different fractions represented by figure 1. 2. Drag the blue slider to any part of the slider. This will give you different number that represent the number of division of the square with a blueoutline. 3. Drag the green slider to its very end. 4. Write the fraction that is shown by the union of the two squares in the input box and press enter. 5. Try to determine the relationship between the fraction, the blue number and your correct "new fraction".
