Tiles
Toolbar
On the custom toolbar of the Graphics you can find the tools for the different tiles in the muqarnas system.
7 drop-down menus each contain 2 tools.
- On top you always find a tool to create the tile of a full muqarnas unit.
- Below you can find the tool for the corresponding intermediate unit.
- Click in the Graphics to define the position of the red point of the tile,
- then click again in the Graphics to define the position of the blue point of the tile.
- For elements with 3 points defining the back of it the red point always is the middle one.
- For elements with 2 points defining the back of it the red point is the left one when looking towards the center of the muqarnas.
From left to right we've got
- the square,
- the rombus
- the almond and the small biped
- the jug and the large biped
- the half square
- the half rhombus
- the almond and the little biped, combined in reverse order.
Experiment with the custom tools on the toolbar to create the tiles of a muqarnas plan.
You can use the input bar and some tools from the standard toolbaar to create other additional shapes.
