P, the Pohoato point is constructed as follows:
  • Define the incenter I X(1) of the triangle ABC.
  • Construct the triangles AIB, AIC, and BIC.
  • Define KA as the symmedian point of triangle IBC and define KB, KC cyclically.
  • Define A' as the midpoint of segment AI, and define Y, Z cyclically.
  • Then the triangles KAKBKC and A'B'C' are perspective, and their perspector is X(3333).
The barycentric coordinates of this point depend on the lenghts of the sides of the triangle.

P, het punt van Pohoato construeer je als volgt:
  • Definieer het middelpunt van de ingeschreven cirkel I X(1) van de driehoek ABC.
  • Construeer de driehoeken AIB, AIC en BIC.
  • Definieer KA als het punt van Lemoine van driehoek IBC en definieer analoog KB en KC.
  • Definieer A' als het midden van het lijnstuk AI en definieer analoog Y en Z.
  • De driehoeken KAKBKC en A'B'C' zijn perspectiefdriehoeken met als perspectiefcentrum X(3333).
De barycentrische coördinaten van dit punt worden bepaald door de lengtes van de zijden van de driehoek.
