A12. The "Midpoint or centre" tool
The perpendicular bisector is the perpendicular line to a segment that runs through its midpoint.
GeoGebra allows you to construct geometric objects in various ways. You can use other tools to draw the perpendicular bisector.
1st. Activate the "Midpoint or center" tool
and click on segment "s". You can also click on the points "A" and "B".
2nd. Name the midpoint of the segment "M".
3rd. Activate the "Perpendicular line" tool
and click on both the segment "s" and the midpoint "M".
4th. Name the new line "m". Remember that Geogebra distinguishes between capital and small letters.
The two curved arrows located in the upper right corner of the Graphics View allow you to reset the activity.
If the activity is correct, you will get 10 points automatically.
