This exploration of traveling waves, reflections and standing waves allows you to vary the speed and wavelength of an incoming wave, display the reflected wave and the superposition of both. The reflection at the far end is adjustable from -1 to 1, where 0 indicates perfect absorption of the wave (impedance is matched).
Check to display the reflected wave, and the resultant sum of both. Adjust overall length, wavelength and velocity to see the free-end behavior of the wave.
