TrueType vs. Bitmap Fonts

TrueType fonts are made of straight line segments and quadratic Bézier curves. Bitmap fonts consist of a matrix of dots or pixels representing the image of each glyph in each face and size. Drag the Resize point for each of the fonts to see how the glyphs respond. Show the control and end points in the True Type area. Drag the endpoints and control point of the green Bézier curve to match different curved section of the letter.
