Two Shapes from a Wire

You have a piece of wire, and cut it into two pieces. You bend one piece into a circle and the other into a square.
This classic problem is a great place to practice noticing and wondering, and to connect to problem posing. I'd recommend Simon Gregg's neat post about his curiosity about this problem.
