Geometric Optics, Part 1 -- Optical Images
- David Chandler
This is a part of a self-contained tutorial on geometric optics. Geometric optics is usually a topic in physics, but as the name impolies, it could equally well be presented in a geometry course. This first demonstration illustrates the meaning of the idea of an optical image.
Where does an object seem to be, as seen visually? Is this always where it is?
