We're going to add examples that show how we solve for missing sides of a right trianlge using trigonometric ratios to our foldable today.
Start on the bottom of the inside of your foldable and add these titles each box:
next, draw this example triangle for using sine:
set up the sine ratio:
and then solve for x:
next, draw this example triangle for using sine:
set up the sine ratio:
and then solve for x:
then draw this example triangle for using cosine:
then set up the cosine ratio and solve for x:
Lastly, let's do the same for tangent, start with the example triangle and set up the tangent ratio:
then solve for x:
When you're all done it should look like this:
