RBHS - Geogebra - Dynamic Geometry Software
We are conducting professional development with GeoGebra to support the transition to the 2025 South Carolina College and Career Ready (SCCCR) Standards, which emphasize foundational Geometry with Statistics. GeoGebra, a dynamic geometry software, helps students develop spatial reasoning, measurement skills, and geometric understanding by enabling hands-on exploration and visualization.
Through this professional development, teachers will learn to leverage GeoGebra to:
Create interactive lessons that promote conceptual learning through exploration.
Help students visualize and explore geometric concepts, fostering deeper understanding and fluency in problem-solving.
Access and adapt pre-existing resources to enhance instruction.
By integrating GeoGebra, teachers will create engaging, interactive learning environments that motivate students, improve their understanding, and align with the standards' goals of building strong foundations in spatial awareness and logical reasoning.
