Scale Factor; Enlargement vs. Reduction

This is a quick demo of scale factor.
1. Slide large point on the black line along the line segment
2. Take note as to how the size of the original object changes vs the size of the scale factor number.
Reduction
When the resulting image is smaller this is called a reduction. What do you notice about the scale factor number when a reduction occurs?
Enlargement
When the resulting image is larger this is called an enlargement. What do you notice about the scale factor number when an enlargement occurs?
