Schematic of an orbit around Kerbin, the fictional planet of Kerbal Space Program. You may interact with the apoapsis and periapsis slider as well as change the values of i, Ω, and ω. The Ship can be dragged along its orbit and the text will be updated to reflect its change in position and velocity. - θ is the True Anomaly - E is the Eccentric Anomaly - M is the Mean Anomaly - i is the inclination - Ω is the longitude of the ascending node - ω is the argument of the periapsis - φ is the angle of the tangent (the orientation of the velocity vector) - e is the eccentricity - X and Y are the are the current value of the ship's position on the standard ellipsis of the form (x/a + y/b = 1)
