Create Your Own: Building Functions Graphically

Teachers: These exercises are identical to the ones seen here. Yet the only difference is that the LARGE COLORED POINTS on the graphs of f and g are moveable so you can create your own exercises for students. To Do This:
  1. Select the 3 dots in the upper right corner.
  2. Select Copy Activity
  3. Edit this copy and save your changes.
  4. Go to your GeoGebra profile page and find it there.
  5. Create a GeoGebra class from this.
For each exercise:
  1. Plot several points that lie on the graph you're asked to construct. To do this, you can use the POINT tool Toolbar Image or simply use the Input... line (at bottom)
  2. Use the PEN tool Toolbar Image to hand-sketch the graph as best you can.

Sketch the graph of (f + g).

Sketch the graph of (g - f).

Sketch the graph of f(g(x)).

Sketch the graph of g(f(x)).
