P, the 1st Malfatti-Rabinowitz point is constructed as follows:
  • Construct the three Malfatti circles of ABC with centers A', B', and C'.
  • Let A" be the point of intersection of lines BC' and CB', and define B" and C" cyclically.
  • The lines AA", BB", and CC" concur in P, triangle center X(1142).
The barycentric coordinates of this point depend on the angles of the triangle.
