Move Point X. What do you notice? Prediction If X is -5, what is Y? If X is 2.3, what is Y? If X is 237, what is Y? Verbal Description Describe how you can find Y if you know what X is. Describe what you notice about the sketch that the point (x, y) makes when you turn on the trace. Look for Number Patterns Make a table for X and Y and include at least five different pairs for A and B. What do you notice? Rule Write a rule for finding Y if you know X. Your rule should begin with "Y = ..."
