After conducting extensive fieldwork, she began classifying Ottoman and Pre-Ottoman muqarnas in her thesis, resulting in new photographs and drawings of muqarnas. Almost fifty years later, her thesis, photos and drawings are still valuable, and her legacy continues to inspire.
