Perimeter is the continuous line forming the boundary of a closed geometric figure. To find the perimeter: 1. find all the lengths of all the lines (use the distance formula) 2. add up all the lengths -if the figure is a parallelogram, you only need to find two of the sides and multiply each of the two sides by two then add together to find the perimeter.
