Objectives

Introduction:
Imagine you have 12 pencils and 4 friends. How can you share the pencils so that everyone gets the same amount? Demonstrate this by physically dividing 12 pencils into 4 equal groups, encouraging students to observe the process. Through discussion, students will recognize that division is about making equal groups.Using visual aids like counters, drawings, and arrays, I will model several division problems to build conceptual understanding before transitioning into hands-on activities.
