Technology and neuroscience in the classroom

Many times in our classroom we wonder why technology such as video games amuse our students so much. These generate emotions. Win or lose, it's part of learning. Your brain plays an extremely important role in achieving concentration. Four factors that are important when working with students and that are applied to educational neuroscience should be taken into account:
  1. Have a good learning environment and help edit my essay
  2. Always provide good enthusiasm
  3. Teach technology in all classes
  4. Create new learning experiences
Educational technology offers our students countless resources that stimulate their brains and help them achieve greater mental alertness. Let's design activities to gain attention with mental activity, these stimulate the senses and are an essential part of learning. Here are five web tools and applications that can help you in the classroom:
  1. Quizlet -  offers free neuroscience tools for teachers and students of all ages that can be used in and out of the classroom.
  2. Brainscape -  allows teachers to make their own flashcards to share with students. They can study their adaptive cards online or in the mobile app and all their progress is kept in sync across devices.
  3. Classcraft -  helps to manage your classes as it contains a set of tools to make your lessons more attractive.
  4. ClassDojo -  is a communication application for the classroom. Connect teachers, parents, and students to share photos, videos, and messages. It helps them work together as a team, share experiences, and come up with great ideas.
  5. Quivervision -  With this application students complete a colored page within a topic such as a history, biology, geography, and mathematics. After coloring the page, they can use their mobile device or tablet to view a 3D version of the drawing with messages that allows them to identify and learn more about the subject.
We can all incorporate neuroscience and technology in the classroom. This will allow us to improve our educational environment with enthusiasm, joy, and fun. I invite you to transform your classroom for better learning.
