Ch 3.1 parallel lines with a transversal

Using the above app create a transversal line through two parallel lines

Step 1: Use the third box over to create a line. Step 2: Use the second box to create a point off the line. Step 3: Use the fourth box over to create the parallel line by selecting the line you created in step one and the point you created in step 2. Step 4: Use the third box over to create a line through the parallel lines. Step 5: Create points on the intersections and on all sides of the two intersections. When you are done it should look something like this

Using the 8th box measure the angles by picking the end point, the vertex and other end point (it will measure counterclockwise). Using the first box you can pick the move tool to move the angle measurement if you can not read it.

Name a pair of corresponding angles and take their measurements. What are the measurements of the two angles and what do you notice?

Name a pair of alternate exterior angles and take their measurements. What are the measurements of the two angles and what do you notice?

Name a pair of alternate interior angles and take their measurements. What are the measurements of the two angles and what do you notice?

Name a pair of consecutive interior angles and take their measurements. What are the measurements of the two angles and what do you notice?
