This year we have planned various amazing excursions for our Global GeoGebra Gathering Participants. Choose one and make Thursday a day for collegiality, exploration and fun!

Mountain & Lake Tour

Spend a nice walking and swimming day in the beautiful Upper Austrian Prealps and enjoy a wonderful view of the valley and the city Gmunden. Bring along your swimming things, we will go swimming to a lake at the top of the mountain! Program:

9:00	Departure from Hotel Sommerhaus
10:00	Arrival in Gmunden
10:15	Ascent with Cable Car Grünbergseilbahn
11:00	Hiking tour to Laudachsee
12:00	Break at Ramsaualm & Swimming in the Laudachsee
13:00	Free time
	You can decide on your own when you want to go back and what to do in the afternoon: Hiking tour back to Grünberg and descent with Cable Car (on one's own) Activities on the mountain like Summer toboggan run (6,50€ per person) or Low rope course Visit Gmunden (10 minutes' walk from the lower terminus) Boat trip on the Traunsee (optional - book on your own) Swimming at Freizeitanlage Seebahnhof - Traunsee (near the lower terminus) Visit the Seeschloss Orth
16:30	Last Descent with the Cable Car Grünbergseilbahn
17:00	Departure from Gmunden
18:00	Arrival in Linz at Hotel Sommerhaus

Price: € 35 The price includes bus transfer from Linz and return, the cable car tickets and the swimming areas.

Linz Sightseeing

"Linz.change(d)" – that's the slogan for Linz, the creative city by the Danube, where there's plenty to be discovered. Have a guided tour through the center of Linz and spend the afternoon in one or more of Linz top 10 sights. Program:

9:15	Meeting point at the Main Square
9:30	Guided tour through Linz
11:30	Coffee break at the confectionary Jindrak. Taste the delicious and famous Linzer Torte!
13:00	Free time
	You can decide on your own what you want to do in the afternoon: Visit the Ars Electronica Center (9,50€) and have a Highlights Tour at 15:00 (extra 3,50€), which provides you an overview of the top attractions. View wonderful exhibitions in the Lentos Kunstmuseum Linz (8€). Visit the voestalpine Stahlwelt (8€) and discover the fascinating world of steel.

Salzburg Sightseeing

Visit Mozart's birth town Salzburg and enjoy the unique atmosphere. Program:

9:00	Departure from Hotel Sommerhaus
10:15	Arrival in Salzburg
10:30	Guided tour through the historic city of Salzburg
13:00	Free time
	You can decide on your own what you want to do in the afternoon: Have coffee break or lunch Walk up to Hohensalzburg Fortress Visiting Mozart's Birthplace in the Getreidegasse and go shopping in this famous alley Take a Hackney coach trip through the city
16:30	Departure from the central station in Salzburg
18:00	Arrival at Hotel Sommerhaus
