Notes: GGB's Boolean layer system can't cope with operations like this: To be visible, the contents of the panel must be on a higher layer than the the construction. To stop at the boundary of the panel, they must be on a lower layer. Nevertheless, this is easily done using Boolean compositing. (e.g BLIT) For simple objects, I will do it by hand, but for objects of arbitrary complexity, BLIT with masks is a complete, general solution.
